DGB Group publishes 2024 semi-annual report

DGB Group N.V. ("DGB" or "the Group") (Euronext: DGB: NL0009169515), a leading carbon project developer and ecosystem restoration company, announces the publication of its 2024 semi-annual consolidated financial results. As DGB remains in its development phase, it reported a net loss for the first half of 2024. The value of its project pipeline surged by +27.8% year-on-year ("YoY"), and unrealised gains on carbon credit investments grew to €23.82 million, highlighting significant growth towards its revenue-generation phase expected later this year.

Key highlights from the semi-annual report include:

• Financial results: DGB ended the first half of 2024 with a gross loss of €0.08 million, compared to a gross profit of €0.21 million in the first half of 2023. The net result for the period was €(1.06) million, compared to €(0.84) million in 2023. The basic and diluted loss per share was €(0.09), compared to €(0.08) in 2023.
• Project performance: The Group reported €23.82 million in unrealised gains on carbon credit project investments, up from €19.22 million in 2023 (+20.5% YoY growth), demonstrating strong potential for future revenue.
• Project pipeline: DGB continued to advance the development of multiple large-scale verified carbon projects while launching new biodiversity and plastic credit pilots. The total project pipeline value reached €29.55 million, compared to €23.67 million in 2023 (+24.8% YoY growth). The Group's total asset value rose to €34.93 million, up from €29.17 million in 2023 (+19.7% YoY growth).
• ● Stakeholder engagement: DGB's close partnerships with approximately 11,000 smallholder farmers in Kenya, Cameroon, and Uganda have strengthened its supply chain in agroforestry projects. This engagement reinforces DGB's ability to deliver long-term value to both investors and communities.
• ● Revenue diversification: With the expansion into plastic and biodiversity credits, DGB is strategically positioning itself in emerging environmental markets. These sectors are projected to grow in the coming years, providing additional avenues for revenue beyond traditional verified carbon credits and aligning DGB's mission with broader sustainability goals.
• ● Important milestones: DGB is on track to issue its first carbon credits (verified carbon units) in 2024, a key milestone that will enable the company to begin generating revenue from its project investments. This revenue represents the culmination of significant groundwork in verified project development over the past years. A total of 25.5 million carbon credits are expected to be issued from four of DGB's most advanced projects, while an additional 12.7 million credits remain in the feasibility phase.

DGB Group N.V. ("DGB" of "de Groep") (Euronext: DGB: NL0009169515), een toonaangevende ontwikkelaar van CO₂-projecten en specialist in natuurherstel, maakt de publicatie bekend van haar geconsolideerde financiële resultaten over de eerste helft van 2024. Omdat DGB zich nog in de ontwikkelingsfase bevindt, rapporteerde het een nettoverlies over de eerste zes maanden van 2024. De waarde van de projectpijplijn steeg met +27,8% ten opzichte van vorig jaar, en niet-gerealiseerde winst uit investeringen in CO₂-certificaten groeide tot €23,82 miljoen, wat een indicatie is voor de verwachte omzetontwikkeling die later dit jaar start.

Belangrijkste hoogtepunten uit het halfjaarverslag zijn onder andere:

• Financiële resultaten: DGB sloot de eerste helft van 2024 af met een brutoverlies van €0,08 miljoen, vergeleken met een brutowinst van €0,21 miljoen in de eerste helft van 2023. Het nettoresultaat over deze periode bedroeg €(1,06) miljoen, tegenover €(0,84) miljoen in 2023. Het verlies per aandeel was €(0,09), vergeleken met €(0,08) in 2023.
• Projectresultaten: De Groep rapporteerde niet-gerealiseerde winsten van €23,82 miljoen op investeringen in CO₂-projecten, ten opzichte van €19,22 miljoen in 2023 (+20,5% groei ten opzichte van vorig jaar), wat wijst op een sterk potentieel voor toekomstige inkomsten.
• Projectpijplijn: DGB heeft de ontwikkeling van meerdere grootschalige gecertificeerde CO₂-projecten verder uitgebouwd en lanceerde daarnaast nieuwe pilots voor biodiversiteits- en plasticcertificaten. De totale waarde van de projectpijplijn bereikte €29,55 miljoen, vergeleken met €23,67 miljoen in 2023 (+24,8% groei ten opzichte van vorig jaar). • Betrokkenheid van stakeholders: DGB's nauwe samenwerkingen met ongeveer 11.000 kleinschalige boeren in Kenia, Kameroen en Oeganda hebben de toeleveringsketen in boslandbouwprojecten versterkt. Deze betrokkenheid versterkt DGB's vermogen om op lange termijn waarde te leveren aan investeerders en gemeenschappen.

● Belangrijke mijlpalen: DGB ligt op schema om in 2024 de eerste geverifieerde CO₂-certificaten te ontvangen. Deze mijlpaal stelt het bedrijf in staat inkomsten uit projectinvesteringen te genereren. Deze inkomsten vertegenwoordigen de afronding van jarenlange voorbereidende werkzaamheden in de ontwikkeling van gecertificeerde projecten. Uit DGB's vier meest gevorderde projecten worden in totaal 25,5 miljoen CO₂-certificaten verwacht. Nog eens 12,7 miljoen certificaten bevinden zich in de afrondende fase van haalbaarheidsstudies.

DGB Group N.V. (« DGB » ou « le Groupe ») (Euronext : DGB : NL0009169515), un développeur de projets carbone et une entreprise de restauration d'écosystèmes de premier plan, annonce la publication de ses résultats financiers consolidés semestriels 2024. Alors que DGB reste en phase de développement, il a enregistré une perte nette pour le premier semestre de 2024. La valeur de son portefeuille de projets a augmenté de +27,8 % d'une année sur l'autre (« YoY »), et les gains non réalisés sur les investissements en crédits carbone ont atteint 23,82 millions d'euros, soulignant une croissance significative vers sa phase de génération de revenus prévue plus tard cette année.

Les principaux points du rapport semestriel comprennent :

• Résultats financiers : DGB a terminé le premier semestre de 2024 avec une perte brute de 0,08 million d'euros, par rapport à un bénéfice brut de 0,21 million d'euros au premier semestre 2023. Le résultat net pour la période s'élevait à (1,06) million d'euros, contre (0,84) million d'euros en 2023. La perte de base et diluée par action était de (0,09) euro, contre (0,08) euro en 2023.
• Performance des projets : Le Groupe a réalisé 23,82 millions d'euros de plus-values latentes sur les investissements dans des projets de crédits carbone, contre 19,22 millions d'euros en 2023 (+20,5% de croissance sur un an), démontrant un fort potentiel de chiffre d'affaires futur.
• Portefeuille de projets : DGB a continué à faire progresser le développement de plusieurs projets carbone vérifiés à grande échelle tout en lançant de nouveaux projets pilotes sur la biodiversité et les crédits plastiques. La valeur totale du portefeuille de projets a atteint 29,55 millions d'euros, contre 23,67 millions d'euros en 2023 (+24,8 % de croissance YoY). La valeur totale des actifs du Groupe a augmenté pour atteindre 34,93 millions d'euros, contre 29,17 millions d'euros en 2023 (+19,7 % de croissance YoY).
• Engagement des parties prenantes : Les partenariats étroits de DGB avec environ 11 000 petits agriculteurs au Kenya, au Cameroun et en Ouganda ont renforcé sa chaîne d'approvisionnement dans les projets agroforestiers. Cet engagement renforce la capacité de DGB à offrir une valeur à long terme à la fois aux investisseurs et aux communautés.
• Diversification des revenus : Avec l'expansion dans les crédits plastiques et biodiversité, DGB se positionne stratégiquement sur les marchés environnementaux émergents. Ces revenus représentent l'aboutissement d'un travail préparatoire important dans le développement de projets vérifiés au cours des dernières années. Un total de 25,5 millions de crédits carbone devraient être émis à partir de quatre des projets les plus avancés de DGB, tandis que 12,7 millions de crédits supplémentaires restent en phase de faisabilité.
