Consolidated non-audited results for the 1st quarter 2008

Consolidated non-audited sales of PLC Vilkyskiu pienine and PLC „Modest” for the 1st quarter 2008 amounted to 24.4 million LTL (7.07 million EUR), or 12 per cent decrease comparing to the 1st quarter 2007. Consolidated non-audited loss of PLC Vilkyskiu pienine group for the 1st quarter 2008 amounted to 1.4 million LTL (0.4 million EUR). The negative result was caused by the 43 per cent increased price of raw milk comparing to the 1st quarter 2007, also the decreased prices of exportable production and diminished demand.
