Elisa succesfull in the Finnish 800 MHz LTE spectrum auction

ELISA STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 30 OCTOBER 2013 AT 2.45pm The auction for the LTE 800 MHz spectrum ended on 30 October 2013. Elisa won 10 MHz of spectrum according its target. The fee for the license is EUR 33.3 million and it will be paid in 5 annual installments in 2013 - 2017. The license is valid from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2033. LTE network enables very high-speed mobile broadband connections and 800 MHz frequency allows a cost-effective addition to the network rollout in rural areas. Elisa has already in use the 2.6 GHz and 1.8 GHz frequencies for LTE. Elisa has now necessary frequencies for nationwide high-speed mobile broadband services. 800 MHz LTE network construction will begin in 2014. The license fee has no impact on Elisa's profit distribution capabilities.
