The sales of AB Vilkyskiu pienine group September 2014

The consolidated sales of the company for September 2014 amounted to 23 million LTL (6.7 million EUR) - 34% decreased comparing to September 2013. The sales of the company for the last 12 months (October 2013 - September 2014) amounted to 379 million LTL (109.7 million EUR) - 10% increased comparing to the same period last year (October 2012 - September 2013). The sales of the company for period January - September 2014 amounted to 279 million LTL (80.7 million EUR) - 5.4% increased comparing to the same period last year. The decrease in turnover of September 2014 was influenced by the global drop in prices of dairy products. For instance, Vilkyskiu pienine AB sold sweet cream with 37% lower price than in September 2013. Moreover, the turnover dropped also due to Russian embargo on the import of agricultural products.
