Elisa successful in the Finnish 700 MHz 4G spectrum auction

ELISA STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 24 NOVEMBER 2016 AT 3:35 PM The auction for the Finnish 700 MHz 4G spectrum ended on 24 November 2016. Elisa won 2x10 MHz of spectrum according its target. The fee for Elisa’s spectrum is EUR 22.0 million and it will be paid in 5 annual installments. The license is valid from 1 February 2017 to 31 December 2033. The new 700 MHz frequency complements Elisa’s 4G network that already has 99 per cent population coverage in Finland. 4G network construction in 700 MHz frequencies will begin in 2017. The spectrum fee has no impact on Elisa's profit distribution capabilities.
