Business Media China AG on track towards balanced Chinese/European top management
Business Media China AG / Change of Personnel
Release of an Ad hoc announcement according to § 15 WpHG, transmitted by
DGAP - a company of EquityStory AG.
The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.
Stuttgart, March 31, 2007 – Business Media China AG (BMC AG, ISIN
DE0005250401, WKN 525040) and John Maxwell Hare are ending their
cooperation on excellent terms by mutual agreement as of March 31, 2007.
Max Hare joined BMC AG’s Managing Board in 2004 – initially as CEO and then
as an ordinary member of the Managing Board. Under his management, BMC AG
started its operations and successfully entered the Chinese market. The
company’s operating business is now mostly run by Chinese managers in China
and the administrative unit in Stuttgart.
Max Hare is clearing the path for the intended Chinese/European parity in
the Managing Board and top management. BMC AG appointed a recognized top
manager to its Managing Board in January 2007 in the form of Li Yang Yang.
It acquired further top executives for advertising media in China in
November 2006 with Ms. Mo Li Yan and Denny Wen.
Integrated, hand-in-hand work between European and Chinese managers 'at eye
level' is one of BMC AG’s fundamental principles and is one of the
milestones on the path to a leading position in the Chinese advertising
sector.
