• Consolidated revenues of €37.01 million
• EBIT up to €4.38 million

Cologne, 27 April 2007: WIGE MEDIA AG (SCN: 634770) has presented its
figures for financial year 2006. In financial year 2006, revenues amounted
to €37.01 million after €39.97 million in 2005. The slight change of 7.4%
is due to the sale of WIGE DATA GmbH as of January 1, 2006. A comparison of
revenues for 2005 and 2006 without WIGE DATA GmbH reveals that, in
financial year 2006, WIGE MEDIA AG increased its revenues by €9.54 million
or almost 35% from €27.47 million as of the balance sheet date 2005 to
€37.01 million.

EBIT improved by 264.2% from €1.2 million in financial year 2005 to €4.38
million in financial year 2006. This increase was essentially due to the
non-recurring effect of the sale of WIGE DATA GmbH. As a result, the net
profit rose from €0.16 million as of the balance sheet date 2005 to €3.54
million in financial year 2006. Earnings per share rose by €0.57 as against
the previous year to €0.60 in financial year 2006.

In financial year 2007, in addition to organic growth, the activities of
WIGE MEDIA AG are concentrating on continuing its strategy and refocusing
the Company. In the context of these activities, extensive measures were
initiated to improve earnings and efficiency. These measures are expected
to result in tangible successes in the current financial year.
