Stuttgart, May 25, 2007 – BMC Railway Advertising has been honored with one
of the key Chinese media prizes. The subsidiary of Business Media China AG
(BMC AG, ISIN DE0005250401, German Securities Code (WKN) 525040), a
specialist for media and marketing in China, was able to hold its own
against thousands of competitors from the Chinese advertising market. By
winning the prize for the 'Most important contribution to new media formats
in 2006', BMC Railway Advertising has joined an elite group. As in addition
to the BMC subsidiary, other prize winners include renowned companies such
as Coca-Cola, CCTV (China’s largest TV station), Sohu.com (a leading
Chinese Internet company) and Chery Automobile (China’s largest independent
automobile manufacturer).

Klaus Michael Hilligardt, Business Media China’s CEO, believes that this
prize is a clear signal that BMC is on the right track with its concept for
railway station advertising. 'We are very pleased that our work has been
honored with this major prize. Our advertising customers just love our
state-of-the-art advertising areas at highly frequented railway stations
throughout China. Now we are one of the leading providers of this form of
advertising in China,' commented Klaus Michael Hilligardt on the award.

The awards were initiated by China’s leading professional magazine for
advertising, media and marketing, the 'China Advertising Magazine',
together with the 'China Advertising Association'. Together, they jointly
host the annual 'China Advertising & Name Brand Convention', at which the
awards were presented. This is one of the key forums in the Chinese
advertising sector, with more than 700 advertising professionals regularly
participating.

When presenting their reasons for the award, the prize-givers praised the
major contribution that BMC Railway Advertising has made to the technical
and media transformation of railway advertising in China. In addition to
the modernization of all major advertising areas in the large Chinese
railway stations BMC supports, and the introduction of backlit displays, in
particular the jury praised the successful repositioning of Chinese railway
station advertising. BMC Railway Advertising has impressively succeeded in
migrating railway station advertising in China to a new media dimension,
and making this a reliable form of advertising with scheduled use. Thereby,
a new format has been created to provide the national and international
advertising industry with a targeted, top-quality means of approaching
their target groups. This can be successfully used, in particular, for
brand management.
