• The group's turnover increased during the first quarter of 2007 by 83.8
  percent to EUR 7.05 million.

• EBIT improved by EUR 0.46 million.

• Sustainable improved earnings before taxes (EBT) expected from business
  year 2007

Cologne, May 30, 2007: WIGE MEDIA AG (Security Code Number: 634770)
published their report for the first quarter of 2007. During the first
quarter of 2007, sales figures in the amount of EUR 7.05 million were
achieved in comparison to EUR 3.84 million for the same period last year.
This means a significant increase by 83.8 percent or EUR 3.21 million in
comparison to the same period last year during the typically weakest
quarter.

During the first quarter, the EBITDA was increased by EUR 0.71 million,
from EUR -1.4 million to EUR -0.69 million. During the reporting period,
the EBIT was increased by EUR 0.46 million and was during the first quarter
of 2007 EUR -2.21 million in comparison to EUR -2.67 million during the
first quarter of 2006. The EBT showed an improvement in the amount of EUR
0.51 million during the first quarter. It increased in comparison to the
same period last year from EUR -2.95 million to EUR -2.44 million. All
figures from last year were adjusted by the one-off effects from the sale
of WIGE DATA GmbH last year.

The positive growth in sales was caused by obtaining new projects in the
area of television and communication and the complete handling of the
snowboard word championship in Arosa. The results of the first quarter were
characterized by the implementation of the efficacy and result increasing
program 'FIT 07'. Based on the initial effects from this program, such as
the under-proportionally increased cost of material, the internally planned
figures were exceeded.

The figures for the first quarter of 2007 confirm the board's anticipation
of achieving sustainable improved annual earnings before taxes (EBT).
