• Earnings before taxes (EBT) for financial year 2007 expected to break
  even

• Outlook for 2008: positive EBT and aiming for adequate margin for
  industry

Cologne, 2 July 2007: WIGE MEDIA AG (ISIN: DE0006347701, SCN: 634770) will
be announcing its outlook for financial year 2008 before its Annual General
Meeting. After an unsatisfactory operating result in financial year 2006,
which was considered a year of restructuring, the Company is forecasting
that in the current financial year, the year of transition to the new
strategic outlook, it will break even before taxes. In 2008, all the
Company's past efforts in the context of its restructuring will pay off.
Once the Company has fully focused on its core business areas of live, TV
and film production for sport and entertainment events, earnings for the
year before taxes are expected to generate an adequate margin at the
standard level for the industry.

This outlook is based on the initial success of the efficiency and earnings
enhancement programme that has already been observed in the current
financial year. Initial improvements in the efficiency of the Company's
organisational and management structures have contributed to this, just as
have sales increases and the disproportionately low rise in cost of
materials ratios as a result of the cost-cutting measures that this
programme introduced and will continue to implement systematically.
