announcement:

This is to notify that funds managed by SKAGEN AS have exceeded the
threshold of 3% shareholdings in KWS SAAT AG, Grimsehlstr. 31, Postfach
1463, 37555 Einbeck, Germany, and as of 20 July 2007 own 3,58% (which
equals 236 461 shares) of the company's shares. All of these shares are
attributable to SKAGEN AS pursuant Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6
