Advertising spaces in new Beijing Airport Terminal 3 close to be sold out
Stuttgart/Beijing, March, 18th 2008 – Almost all of the advertising spaces
marketed by Business Media China in the recently opened Terminal 3 of the
Beijing Airport have already been sold until the end of 2010. While Samsung
has extended their annual contract with BMC, which was first concluded in
February, by 2 years, the Chinese Internet marketing platform 99ad.com
booked half of the over 50 light boxes offered until the end of 2010.
Approximately 80 percent of the arriving guests will move past the giant
Samsung hand with the five Olympic Colors until at least the end of 2010.
The four meter high 3D model cannot be missed. The current clipping report
is shown on the cell phone display during the Olympic Games. Four touch
screens have been setup, where additional information and the current
Samsung advertisement can be called up.
In addition to the car exhibition platforms reserved by Ferrari and
Samsung, the Chinese on-line advertising agency 99ad.com has booked a large
number of the light boxes located next to the exit from the arrival gates
until the end of 2010. This means that the dominant portion of the BMC
advertising space in the new international Terminal 3 of Beijing airport
has been booked only a few weeks after it was launched.
Beijing Capital International Airport is the most important and largest
international airport in China, and is also the one with the largest
airport revenue in all of Asia. Terminal 3, which was newly opened on
February 29th, 2008, is the primary base for Air China and the entire Star
Alliance, including Lufthansa, as well as the Oneworld Alliance (American
Airlines, British Airways, and others). All of the international arrivals
and departures for the Olympic Summer Games 2008 will pass through Terminal
3, receiving the VIP’s, group tours, and tourists.
