ADM Hamburg Aktiengesellschaft: Competition authorities approve joint
venture with Wilmar

(Hamburg, September 23, 2016)

On September 23, 2016 Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) and
Wilmar International Limited (SGX: F34) have received all clearances from
the competition authorities for the transition of Olenex into a full-
function joint venture with its own assets, trading, sourcing, sales and
marketing capabilities.

As part of Archer Daniels Midland Group, ADM Hamburg Aktiengesellschaft
will transfer its specialty oils and fats facility and palm refining
facility into the newly founded joint venture company Olenex Edible Oils
GmbH. Wilmar will contribute its facilities for tropical oils processing in
Brake and Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Archer Daniels Midland Group and
Wilmar Group have been co-operating since 2012 to market oils and fat
products in Europe.
