INCITY ACQUIRES OFFICE PROPERTY IN BERLIN AT THE LEIPZIGER PLATZ FROM QUANTUM

Frankfurt am Main, 9 November 2018 – InCity Immobilien AG has acquired a ten-storey residential and commercial property, mainly with office units, located directly at the Leipziger Platz in Berlin via a subsidiary and has concluded a notarial deed of sale for this property today. The company’s property portfolio now consists of ten properties.

The property is located at Leipziger Platz 8, Erna-Berger-Strasse 5 in Berlin-Mitte and is nearly fully let with a rentable area of approximately 5,100 sqm, of which about two thirds are allotted to office space. The ten-storey building was constructed between 2000 and 2003. It features two entrances, the imposing main entrance in the front building facing the Leipziger Platz and the side entrance at Erna-Berger-Strasse 5. The property currently generates rental income (net cold rent) of more than EUR 1 m annually. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The closing of the transaction and payment of the purchase price are subject to various standard customary closing conditions.
