The Supervisory Board and the current Chairman of the Managing Board, Mr. Daniel Barth, have today agreed by best mutual consent that Mr. Barth will leave the Company and resign from the Managing Board as of February 28, 2022. The background to this is, in particular, differing views on the further strategic development of the Company. The Supervisory Board would like to thank Mr. Barth, who has been Chairman of the Managing Board since 2018, for his achievements, with which he has made a significant contribution to the success of the Company, particularly in the past two years, which were marked by the Corona pandemic. The Supervisory Board today appointed Mr. Maik Krämer, Chief Financial Officer, as the new Chairman of the Managing Board as of March 1, 2022. He will take over Mr. Barth’s duties until an eligible successor is found. The search for a successor to Mr. Barth has already been initiated.
