Notification and Public Disclosure of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

Electrocomponents plc (the 'Company') announces that David Egan, Chief Financial Officer, has been awarded 8,930 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the capital of the Company (the 'Shares') at nil cost (the 'Award of Shares') on Monday, 29 June 2020. 4,210 Shares were sold at 664.00 pence per Share on Tuesday, 30 June 2020 to cover David's tax liabilities and sales costs. David retains the remaining shares.

The value of the Award of Shares reflects the uplift in David's base remuneration for the performance of additional duties and responsibilities that he undertook in the three month period commencing November 2019 during Lindsley Ruth's, Chief Executive Officer, absence from the business. Further details are set out in the 2020 Annual Report and Accounts.
