Financing from DFC

ASTARTA HOLDING PLC (hereinafter "the Company") hereby announces, that the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) approved a USD40m loan agreement for one of the Company's subsidiaries.

DFC will co-finance with the International Finance Corporation capital investments and operating expenses related to the construction of a soy protein concentrate (SPC) plant.

The loan term is up to ten years.
