Statement re Arysta LifeScience

Wilmcote Holdings plc ('Wilmcote') announces that it is no longer in discussions with Platform Speciality Products Corporation regarding a potential acquisition of its Agricultural Solutions segment, Arysta LifeScience. In line with the Company's mandate to pursue acquisition opportunities, the Company has incurred material third party expenses in connection with this opportunity.

CEO Adrian Whitfield said "We note Arysta LifeScience's announcement today that it is in exclusive discussions with another party. Arysta LifeScience offers an attractive acquisition opportunity for Wilmcote and we will monitor developments with continued interest."

Wilmcote's ordinary shares will recommence trading with immediate effect.
