About Weng Fine Art AG

Company Description

Weng Fine Art AG is one of the five leading German art trading companies. Since 1994, Rüdiger K. Weng and his team have placed more than 21,000 paintings, sculptures, works on paper as well as prints by over 800 internationally important artists of the 20th and 21st centuries worldwide.

We dispense with expensive gallery space and supply our regular business exclusively to commercial customers in Europe and the USA. The most important sales channels are international dealers and auction houses, including the world market leaders Sotheby's and Christie's. Purchases and sales are based on proprietary valuation models that combine art-historical aspects with financial expertise and allow an unbiased view of art as a commodity.

The focus is therefore on internationally marketable artists such as Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Roy Lichtenstein, Gerhard Richter, Günther Uecker or Damien Hirst - but not on works with a six- or seven-figure value.
