MERKUR PRIVATBANK is an owner-managed, listed private bank whose roots go back to 1923. At that time, Josef Schilling founded what later became Bank Schilling & Co AG under the name "Josef Schilling, Bankgeschäft in Hammelburg". With the takeover of significant parts of Bank Schilling's banking business by MERKUR BANK, one of the largest owner-managed private banks in Germany was created in October 2019.

Together, we want to become even better for our customers every day. We see banking as a traditional craft. This is true today and will remain so in the future. Our core competence lies in asset management and advisory services for private individuals, companies, families and foundations, as well as financing for developers, real estate investors, leasing companies and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
