MERKUR PRIVATBANK is an owner-managed, listed private bank whose roots go back to 1923. At that time, Josef Schilling founded what later became Bank Schilling & Co AG under the name "Josef Schilling, Bankgeschäft in Hammelburg". With the takeover of significant parts of Bank Schilling's banking business by MERKUR BANK, one of the largest owner-managed private banks in Germany was created in October 2019.
