Lån & Spar was founded in 1880 with the aim of creating a completely new bank that gave ordinary people the opportunity to borrow money on reasonable terms. And although much has changed, the essence remains the same. We work to give our customers the best framework for a healthy economy.

Today, we have about 450 employees. We have 23 advice centres around Denmark with a total of more than 150,000 customers. We cooperate with 52 professional organisations and associations. Many of them are also in our ownership, and the majority of our clients come from these professional organisations.

Lån & Spar is characterised by an informal organisation where, across advice centres and staff functions, we work closely together towards our common goals.
