Description
Barings Global Short Duration High Yield Fund is a closed-end fixed income fund. Its primary investment objective is to generate a high level of current income consistent with capital preservation, with capital appreciation as a secondary objective. The fund invests in a global portfolio of short-duration, high-yield bonds, loans, and other income-producing instruments, which are typically rated below investment grade or are unrated. It maintains a weighted average portfolio duration of three years or less and a weighted average portfolio maturity of five years or less.
