Der vorliegende Konzernabschluss der LEONI AG wurde unter Anwendung von § 315e Abs. 1 Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB) („Konzernabschluss nach internationalen Rechnungslegungsstandards“) im Einklang mit den International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) und den damit verbundenen Auslegungen (SIC/IFRIC-Interpretationen) erstellt, wie sie gemäß der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1606/2002 des europäischen Parlaments und des Rates über die Anwendung internationaler Rechnungslegungsstandards in der Europäischen Union anzuwenden sind. Die Bezeichnung IFRS umfasst auch die noch gültigen International Accounting Standards (IAS).
