Der von der Covestro AG aufgestellte Konzernabschluss zum 31. Dezember 2024 umfasst die Covestro AG, ihre Tochterunternehmen, gemeinschaftliche Vereinbarungen sowie assoziierte Unternehmen und ist nach den Vorschriften der am Abschlussstichtag gültigen und von der Europäischen Union (EU) anerkannten International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) des International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), London (Vereinigtes Königreich), den Interpretationen (IFRIC) des IFRS Interpretations Committee (IFRS IC) bzw. den seitens des Standing Interpretations Committee (SIC) verlautbarten Interpretationen sowie den zusätzlich nach § 315e Absatz 1 Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB) anzuwendenden handelsrechtlichen Vorschriften für den sogenannten befreienden IFRS-Konzernabschluss erstellt worden.

Zudem werden die Buchwerte der Verbindlichkeiten aus Zinsabgrenzungen sowie der sonstigen übrigen finanziellen Verbindlichkeiten übergeleitet. Die Darstellung des Vorjahres wurde entsprechend angepasst.
