Dnia 24 sierpnia 2023 r. spółka KCI S.A. zbyła 240 416 uprzywilejowanych akcji serii A spółki Gremi Media stanowiących 13,43% ogólnej liczby akcji Spółki i uprawniających ich posiadacza do 20,38% głosów na Walnym Zgromadzeniu Akcjonariuszy i tym samym utraciła kontrolę nad jednostką zależną Gremi Media Spółka Gremi Media stała się jednostką stowarzyszoną, na którą KCI S.A. wywiera znaczący wpływ. Z uwagi na brak dostępnych skonsolidowanych danych finansowych GK Gremi Media na dzień 24 sierpnia 2023 r. i z uwagi na to, iż zgodnie z MSR 28 dopuszczalny jest 3 miesięczny okres rozbieżności w danych, na potrzeby rozliczenia utraty kontroli i ustalenia aktywów netto na moment rozpoczęcia wywierania znaczącego wpływu nad GK Gremi Media przyjęto dostępne dane finansowe na dzień 30 czerwca 2023 r. wynikające z półrocznego skonsolidowanego sprawozdania Grupy Kapitałowej Gremi Media Wskazując na dane ujmowane na moment utraty kontroli należy mieć na uwadze, że wykorzystano dane dotyczące GK Gremi Media z 30 czerwca 2023 r.

Na dzień 31 grudnia 2023 r. wartość firmy nie występuje. Na dzień 31 grudnia 2022 r. Grupa przeprowadziła testy na utratę wartości firmy oraz wartości niematerialnych w postaci tytułów prasowych. Istotne szczegóły opisano w punkcie 9.2 skonsolidowanego sprawozdania finansowego GK KCI za 2022 r. Zarząd KCI S.A. nie widział przesłanek do przeprowadzenia testu na utratę wartości firmy na dzień utraty kontroli tj. na dzień 24 sierpnia 2023 r., w związku z powyższym wartość firmy przyjęta do rozliczenia skonsolidowanego wyniku na zbyciu jednostki zależnej pozostaje na niezmienionym poziomie tj. 28 879 tys. zł
