Ze względu na charakter i skalę prowadzonej działalności, ryzyko kredytowe jest przedmiotem regularnej analizy dla wszystkich jednostek zależnych wchodzących w skład Grupy. Grupa Selena zawiera transakcje handlowe z firmami wykazującymi dobrą zdolność kredytową. Klienci, którym przyznawane są kredyty kupieckie, poddawani są procedurom weryfikacji uzależnionym od charakteru i skali kooperacji, w wyniku czego indywidualnie ustalany jest limit kredytowy oraz warunki płatności klienta. Grupa Selena regularnie monitoruje poziom i przeterminowanie należności oraz podejmują działania windykacyjne w celu minimalizacji ryzyka kredytowego. Ponadto wybrane jednostki Grupy zawarły umowę z firmą Attradius Credit Insurance N.V.S.A. o ubezpieczenie należności handlowych.

Jednostki z Grupy udzielają sobie wzajemnych poręczeń zarówno w związku z zaciąganymi wspólnie kredytami, jak i w ramach transakcji zakupowych. Transakcje te mają charakter wewnątrzgrupowy, poręczenie dotyczy zobowiązań kredytowych oraz zobowiązań handlowych wobec jednostek niepowiązanych.
