Die Lenzing Gruppe trägt Abfertigungs- und Jubiläumsgeldverpflichtungen für ehemalige Mitarbeiter:innen von bestimmten verkauften Beteiligungen bis zur Höhe der fiktiven Ansprüche zum Zeitpunkt des Verkaufes. Diese Verpflichtungen sind zum Bilanzstichtag in Höhe des Barwerts nach versicherungsmathematischen Grundsätzen rückgestellt. Daneben hat insbesondere die Lenzing AG Haftungen zur Sicherstellung von Ansprüchen Dritter gegenüber vollkonsolidierten Unternehmen übernommen, bei denen es als unwahrscheinlich eingeschätzt wird, dass diese schlagend werden. Weitere finanzielle Verpflichtungen mit wesentlichen Auswirkungen auf die derzeitige Vermögens-, Finanz- und Ertragslage des Konzerns sieht der Vorstand nicht.

Im Geschäftsjahr 2021 erfolgte eine Umgliederung von den erfolgsneutral zum beizulegenden Zeitwert bewerteten Eigenkapitalinstrumenten aus den sonstigen Beteiligungen (Stufe 3) in die kurzfristigen Wertpapiere (Stufe 1). Der Grund für die Umgliederung war der erstmalige Börsegang der Gesellschaft Spinnova OY, Jyväskylä, Finnland, am 24. Juni 2021. Die von der Lenzing AG gehaltenen Gesellschaftsanteile wurden in Aktien umgewandelt. Durch die Ausgabe der neuen Aktien wurde der bisherige Anteil in Höhe von 6,8 Prozent verwässert und belief sich anschließend auf 4,67 Prozent. Daraus ergab sich im Geschäftsjahr 2021 eine Anpassung des Buchwerts in Höhe von TEUR 31.732. Im Geschäftsjahr 2022 erfolgte eine teilweise Veräußerung der Aktien der Gesellschaft Spinnova OY, Jyväskylä, Finnland (siehe Note 23). Die Bewertung der Wertpapiere erfolgt zum beizulegenden Zeitwert und aufgrund der Ausübung des entsprechenden Wahlrechts erfolgsneutral.

Bei den Kapitalrücklagen handelt es sich um gebundene Rücklagen der Lenzing AG, die nur zum Ausgleich eines Bilanzverlustes der Lenzing AG verwendet werden dürfen. Sie wurden durch Zufuhr von Mitteln gebildet, welche von den Aktionären über das Grundkapital hinaus der Lenzing AG zugeflossen sind.
