Exercise of Options and Transfer of Shares

The Company announces that on 1 March 2013, options were exercised by Denis Mullan, Group Finance Director, in respect of 5,000 ordinary shares of 1.0p each through the Company's 2004 Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) Scheme at a price of 70.0p per share. These shares are then being transferred to his personal pension scheme by way of an in-specie contribution. Following this transaction, the beneficial interests of Denis Mullan, including those of his immediate family, are 132,109 ordinary shares, representing 0.9% of the total voting rights of the Company.
