Disposal of shares by way of transfer to a pension fund

The Company announces that on 13 February 2013, it was informed by Denis Mullan, Group Finance Director, that his wife Mrs Sheila J W Mullan disposed of 10,000 ordinary shares in the Company today at a price of £3.35, by way of a transfer to Alliance Trust Savings Limited as an in-specie settlement of a pension contribution debt of £33,500 relating to Denis Mullan's pension fund.

Following this transaction, the beneficial interests of Denis Mullan, including those of his immediate family, remain unchanged at 127,109 ordinary shares, representing 0.85% of the total voting rights of the Company.
