Appointment of Independent Non-executive Director

7digital Group plc (AIM:7DIG), the global leader in B2B end-to-end digital music solutions, announces the appointment of Helen Gilder as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Helen brings significant technology and financial experience to the Board, with a strong track record as a finance director of fast-growth digital and software companies as well as extensive non-executive experience in the technology and retail sectors.

Helen joined ZOO Digital Group plc in 2000 and was CFO from 2006 to 2018, guiding the business through both its initial AIM IPO and subsequent reverse takeover and re-admission, as well as several secondary fundraisings. Under her executive leadership, the business grew from a market capitalisation of £3m to an international operation of over £100m with 200 people. ZOO Digital Group plc was named Company of the Year at the 2018 Small Cap Awards.

In a non-executive capacity, Helen advises a number of growth businesses, including Slingshot Simulations Ltd, a developer of simulation technologies, GI UK Medical Ltd, a medical distribution company, and Via Moto Ltd, a motorbike retail and repair business. Helen also chairs Asperger's Children and Carers Together, a charity that supports families affected by Asperger's and High Functioning Autism, and sits as a member of the Regional Advisory Group of the London Stock Exchange. Helen qualified as a chartered accountant under ICAEW with PKF in 1991.
