Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Zinnwald Lithium plc, the German focused lithium development company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Stefan Scherer as a Non-Executive Director in accordance with the terms of the Relationship Agreement with AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. ("AMG") announced on 22 March 2023.

As Chief Executive Officer of AMG Lithium GmbH and Chief Commercial Officer of AMG Lithium BV, Dr. Scherer is responsible for AMG's downstream Lithium business as well as the overall strategy development for its entire Lithium operations.  After his studies in chemistry at the Technische Hochschule Darnstadt, Dr. Scherer completed his PhD in Organic Chemistry at the Goethe University in Frankfurt in 1995.  He has more than 20 years' experience in the speciality and fine chemical industries in various R&D, operational and management positions, including periods with Albermarle and Rockwood Lithium/Chemetall, prior to joining AMG in 2019. Dr. Scherer is a German citizen.
