NOTICE OF DIRECTOR’S RESIGNATION

Zimplats announces that Michael (Mike) John Houston resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 15 August 2014.

The Board of Directors acknowledges Mike’s tremendous contribution to the Company since 2001 in various capacities, initially as Chief Operating Officer, then as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and more recently as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.

The Board of Directors thanks Mike for his valuable contribution to the Company and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
