APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR

Terence Goodlace has been appointed to the board of Zimplats Holdings Limited as a non-Executive director with effect from 10[th] August 2012. Terence has been a non-executive director of Impala Platinum Holdings Limited since 2010. He was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Implats on 1 July 2012, prior to which he was Chief Executive Officer of Metorex Limited. Previously he was Chief Operating Officer of Gold Fields Limited.
