ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

RESIGNATION OF A DIRECTOR

Zimplats announces the resignation of Gregory Sebborn as a non-executive director of the Board with effect from 10 February 2010.

Greg joined Zimplats in 1998 as Financial Director and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2005, a position that he held until his resignation in August 2007, subsequent to which he remained on the board as a non-executive director.

The Board of Directors thanks him for his valuable contribution to the company over the years and wishes him every success in the future.
