OIL PRODUCTION JOINT VENTURE AGREEMENT - KENTUCKY

KOS Joint Venture provides immediate oil production and cash flow to WHL Energy Ltd.

The Directors are pleased to announce that WHL Energy Ltd has committed to a Joint Venture which acquires a 33% interest, with its other two partners Kos Energy (Kentucky) LLC and Deniz Energy LLC, in Kentucky.

This acquisition will bring early oil production, from the project, to WHL Energy by reworking existing oil wells. The Directors are confidant that the project will be cash flow positive within a quarter.

KOS Energy LLC holds a marketing agreement for the Commonwealth State of Kentucky for the patented Short Radius Stimulation (SRS) jet drilling technology. KOS Energy operates several mobile units based in Lexington and has built a significant portfolio of projects and wells leveraging the technology. Radial jet drilling allows operators fast and cost effective methods to enter existing vertical oil wells and jet lateral channels into known hydrocarbon producing zones via modified coiled tubing units. Previous applications of the technology have resulted in an several fold increases of production.

The Directors are pleased to add this oil production interest to its current growing footprint in Kentucky and will update the market regarding progress with our other partners Gale Force Petroleum in our Joint Venture gas project in the coming weeks.
