Repayment of facility

Further to the ASX announcement made by WHL Energy Limited on 10 October 2008 regarding the Company’s credit facility (“the Facility”) with HSBC Bank (“HSBC”), the Company advises that the Facility has been repaid. Approximately 700,000 additional Australian dollars (“$A”) was required by HSBC over and above the maximum $A exposure permitted under the Facility to extinguish the USA dollar draw downs made pursuant to the Facility.
