CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

WHL Energy Limited (WHL) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Rowbottam as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director as of 6 September 2010. David Rowbottam is a qualified accountant with over 25 years experience across a variety of industry sectors.

He has previously held the position of Managing Director for an ASX listed entity with international interests. Recent experience has included merger and acquisition transactions on behalf of a publicly listed entity including funding through a public placement. David has also been the Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer for a number of unlisted entities in the resources, construction and power generation sectors both in Australia and overseas.

Mr David Kahn has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company due to the increasing time required for his personal business interests.

The Board wishes to thank Mr Kahn for his contribution to the company over the past two years.
