Hamburg, February 12, 2010 - ZhongDe Waste Technology AG [Ticker ZEF]
announces that its first large size waste-to-energy project in Datong is
operating smoothly and has already met specified standards during the first
three months of operation. The project went into operation and was
connected with the power grid for the sale of electricity in November 2009.
Total revenues of Datong amount to approx. EUR 32 million (excluding tax)
and will be completely recognized in financial year 2009. The gross profit
margin of Datong EPC project amounts to approx. 25% (unaudited).

The Datong waste disposal and electricity generation project uses a
circulatory fluidized bed waste incinerator supplemented with less than 20%
coal. Three incineration lines with a daily treatment capacity of 500 tons
each are installed, of which one line is for standby. The project treats an
average of 1,000 tons of municipal waste per day with a maximum daily
capacity of 1,500 tons and on the basis of 7,600 hours of equipment
utilization per year. Total waste treatment volume of the entire plant is
316,600 tons per year. The annual maximum treatment capacity is 360,000
tons.
