Zensar's Skills Development Program in South Africa reaches the milestone of its 1000[th] intern.

Johannesburg, South Africa, April 19, 2023 : Zensar Technologies, a leading experience engineering and technology solutions company, recently announced achieving a milestone of enrolling its 1000th intern as an outcome of its Skills Development Program instituted in 2008. The key objective of this initiative is to train and prepare local youth with the latest ICT skillsets. The event marked the occasion of Zensar's successful training of 1000+ interns in areas like Software QA, ITIL4, Operations Management, Salesforce, Cyber Security, Microsoft Azure, Power Mainframe, and more. This event held in Zensar's Johannesburg office was marked with the presence of Mr Mahesh Kumar, Consul General of India for South Africa.

Manish Tandon, CEO and Managing Director, Zensar, said , "We are delighted to welcome Mr Mahesh Kumar, to celebrate a significant milestone with us as we welcome our 1000[th] intern to our fold. The Skills Development initiatives focuses on changing the youth's lives through education, training, and mentorship programmes. Under this initiative, graduates from different universities and colleges with diplomas and degrees in Information Technology are recruited to be part of this internship programme and trained in critical skills to address 4IR global demands. International tech skills like automation, cloud, software testing, Java, etc. They are taught by world-class trainers from India and South Africa and exposed to local and international projects that result in real-world experience.
