Tipp24 SE: Paul Witten joins as Head of Business Development in London

(Hamburg, 14 January 2013) With immediate effect, Paul Witten (51) joins Tipp24 UK Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tipp24 SE, as Managing Director and Head of Business Development. The position was newly created as part of Tipp24's international alignment. Paul Witten will be based in London.
Witten has many years of experience with leading, internationally operating companies in the online sector. From 2009 to 2012, he was Director of E-Commerce and Mobile at Ladbrokes PLC after previously serving as Global Marketing Director at Betfair for four years. He was responsible for Business Development at Ebay in London for four years. Prior to this, he held various positions in Marketing, Sales and Business Development with companies in the technology sector.
In his new position, Paul Witten will be responsible for the global expansion of Tipp24 across all aspects of online lottery and associated business areas.

From its foundation to the end of 2008, Tipp24 SE brokered tickets worth over 1.5 billion euros to the state lottery companies – in the latter years over 330 million euros annually. Following its successful IPO in 2005 (Prime Standard), the company was admitted to the SDAX index in June 2009. In July 2012, German online brokerage activities were successfully spun off from Tipp24 SE in the form of the company Lotto24 AG, which is listed separately on the stock exchange.
