TRADING HALT

At the request of Zai Lab Limited (the “ Company ”), trading in the shares of the Company on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited will be halted with effect from 9:00 a.m. on April 20, 2021 pending the release of an announcement in relation to the pricing of the underwritten public offering of US$750,000,000 of American depositary shares of the Company in the United States which constitutes inside information of the Company.
