SYSCAN TECH<08083> - Share Consolidation

Market participants are requested to note that the shareholders of
SYSCAN Technology Holdings Limited ("SYSCAN TECH") have approved the
consolidation of shares on the basis of 10 then existing ordinary shares
("Old Shares") of SYSCAN TECH into 1 new ordinary shares ("New Shares").
Effective from today (7/10/2003), a temporary counter under stock code
8399 and stock short name "SYSCAN TECH" will be established for trading in
board lots of 200 New Shares each to replace the previous counter (stock
code: 8083) for trading in board lots of 2,000 Old Shares each.
