approximately HK$3,709,000 (2002: HK$9,816,000) for the three-month
period ended 30 September 2003 and approximately HK$18,104,000
(2002: HK$15,818,000) for the nine-month period ended 30 September
2003 and on the weighted average number of approximately
1,023,643,279 shares (2002: 1,022,643,000 shares) in issue during
the three-month period ended 30 September 2003 and approximately
1,023,613,975 shares (2002: 1,022,639,000 shares) in issue during
the nine-month period ended 30 September 2003.

No diluted loss per share is presented as the outstanding employee
share options are anti-dilutive.
