Appointment of Non-Executive Director

YouGov, the international research and data analytics group, announces the appointment of Nick Prettejohn as a Non‐Executive Director with effect from 13 June 2022.

Nick Prettejohn (aged 61) has significant corporate governance and listed company experience across multiple business sectors. He is currently Chair of Reach plc and TSB Banking Group plc, having held previous appointments including Chair of the Financial Advice Working Group, Brit Insurance and Scottish Widows Limited, and Non-Executive Director roles at Lloyds Banking Group plc, the Prudential Regulation Authority, and Legal and General plc. Previous to this, Nick was CEO of Prudential UK and Europe for three years, having been CEO of Lloyd's of London for six years.

Commenting on the appointment, Roger Parry, Chair, said: "The Board of YouGov is delighted to welcome Nick. His significant strategic and operational experience will bring additional strength to our board. His extensive plc experience will greatly strengthen our corporate governance structure. I am confident that Nick's skills and longstanding experience in listed companies will be invaluable in supporting YouGov's next phase of growth."

As previously disclosed, Mr. Parry will be standing down from the role of Non-Executive Chair during the coming year. The Board is continuing to work with the executive search firm, Egon Zehnder, as part of its succession planning.
