EXPIRY OF LISTED OPTIONS

Southern Crown Resources Ltd (Southern Crown or the Company) has 9,994,355 quoted options on issue that are exercisable at 35 cents each and expire on 31 December 2012 (Options). The Options are quoted under the ASX code “SWRO”.

Each of these Options entitles the holder to acquire one ordinary share in Southern Crown for 35 cents ($0.35) each. The last sale price for ordinary shares was 8.0 cents ($0.08). The highest price at which ordinary shares in Southern Crown have traded over the last 3 months is 10.5 cents ($0.105) on 19 September 2012. The lowest price at which ordinary shares have traded over the last 3 months is 6.5 cents ($0.065) on 17 October 2012.

Quotation of these Options on the ASX ends at the close of trading on 31 December 2012. There is no underwriting agreement with respect to the exercise of these Options.

To exercise these options either wholly or in part, an appropriate notice of exercise of the relevant options together with payment of 35 cents ($0.35) for each option exercised, must be received at the Company’s Share Registry by 5pm WST on 31 December 2012. For each option exercised, the option holder will be allotted one Ordinary Share in the capital of Southern Crown. Options not exercised by 5pm WST on 31 December 2012 will lapse.

The ASX has granted Southern Crown a waiver from ASX Listing Rule 6.24 to the extent necessary to permit the Company not to send notices to option holders required by paragraph 6.1 of Appendix 6A in relation to these Options. Consequently, an option expiry notice will not be sent to holders of these Options.
