- YOC Group is becoming the leading provider in the UK
- Addition of prestigious new companies to the customer base
- Generation of considerable synergy potential
Berlin, 27. May 2009 - YOC AG is taking over 100% of Bluestar Mobile Ltd.,
London, today. The YOC Group is expanding its presence on the British
market, where it has already been operating since 2005, substantially with
the acquisition of the British Mobile Marketing and Mobile Internet
provider. The international growth strategy implemented by the corporate
group is being continued systematically with this move.
Following the successful completion of several strategic acquisitions, YOC
AG has now taken over a British company for the first time in buying
Bluestar Mobile Ltd. The business operations of Bluestar Mobile Ltd. are an
ideal addition to the range of services provided by the YOC Group. Since
the customer portfolios of the two companies do not overlap, YOC AG's sales
volume on the British market is increasing considerably. Bluestar Mobile
Ltd.'s customers include The Sun, The Times, The News of the World, The New
York Post, The Mirror, Motorola, 20th Century Fox, Bacardi and many other
well-known companies.
'The takeover of Bluestar Mobile Ltd. and integration with the existing
operations of our British subsidiary YOC Ltd. at the same time will make us
the leading full-service provider for Mobile Marketing in the UK. We are
continuing our international growth strategy purposefully as a result,'
says Dirk Kraus, CEO of YOC AG.
YOC AG is expecting integration of the business operations of Bluestar
Mobile Ltd. in the YOC Group to produce considerable synergy benefits.
Internalisation of the technical services that Bluestar Mobile Ltd. has
outsourced in the past and that will now be provided by YOC has tremendous
cost-cutting potential, for example. There is also major cross-selling
potential with respect to the other product areas of the YOC Group,
particularly Mobile Advertising.
Bluestar Mobile Ltd. has been profitable ever since it was established and
the stability of its operations is guaranteed by recurring income. Not only
similar internal processes but also an almost identical organisational
structure at both companies promise smooth integration of the British
provider in the YOC Group.
The management of Bluestar Mobile Ltd. is staying at the company and is
being joined by a member of the YOC AG Management Board.
