YOC AG is growing in the crisis

  • YOC Group increases sales by 5%
  • Growth of more than 15% in the mobile marketing segment
  • Positive outlook for the year as a whole

Berlin, 19th August 2009. YOC AG is positive about the company's
performance in the first six months of the current financial year: YOC
Group sales increased by 5% to EUR 12.2 million. EBITDA for the period
under review amounted to EUR 0.7 million - EUR 1.1 million after adjustment
to take account of non-recurring expenses such as the uplisting to the
Prime Standard. This means that the adjusted EBITDA margin was 8.6%.

Dirk Kraus, CEO of YOC AG, considers that the company's growth prospects
are being confirmed: 'We are seeing that the mobile marketing segment in
particular is continuing to grow this year as well, in spite of the
economic crisis and a general decline in advertising expenditure. Two of
the reasons for this are that smartphones are rapidly becoming the standard
for mobile phone users and that transmission speed is increasing
considerably thanks to UMTS. In view of this, it is only logical that a
steadily growing proportion of companies and organisations is responding to
this trend and is using mobile marketing to communicate with its target
group.'

YOC is therefore experiencing strong demand for its full-service range in
the mobile marketing field from very different companies and organisations
in the meantime: YOC is implementing the mobile portal for the CDU general
election campaign, the innovative mobile marketing campaign 'Need a top-up'
Grab a Fanta!', for the Coca-Cola brand Fanta and the iPhone application
'Post mobil' for Deutsche Post AG.

The most important market for the YOC Group in the first half of the year
was Germany, with sales of EUR 10.7 million. The company increased its
sales there by 8.4% in the first six months.

The YOC Group succeeded in growing its sales in its core mobile marketing
operations in the second quarter too, in spite of the difficult market
environment with an anticipated drop of up to 15% in the traditional
advertising market. This means that the company again managed to buck the
negative market trend and maintain its corporate growth. The experts are
convinced that the move away from classic advertising and towards digital
media - mobile phones in particular - will be continuing in future.

The YOC Group is expecting sales of at least EUR 25 million after EUR 23.6
million in the previous year.
