Manica Alluvial Update

The Board of Xtract Resources Plc ("Xtract" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that alluvial mining contractor Sino Minerals, has commenced production on the eastern half of the Manica concession.

Highlights

·     Sino Minerals commenced processing alluivals through their number 1 plant on 7 October 2017

·     Recovery of first gold from sluice boxes on 8 October 2017

·     Smelting of first gold expected no later than the 10 October 2017

Colin Bird, Chairman said: "I am pleased to be able to report that on Saturday, 7 October 2017, Sino Minerals commenced commercial production on the eastern half of the Manica concession. The Company expects to be in receipt of its first gold dore bars by the end of the week.  We look forward in further updating the market as production stabilises and optimises."
