CFO Appointment

Xtract (AIM: XTR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joel Silberstein CA(SA), ACA as its  Chief Financial Officer.

Joel is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years experience in the area of financial accounting and reporting, primarily in the mining industry. After completing his training at Mazars, Cape Town, Joel held the position of Group Controller and Vice President Finance of Toronto Stock Exchange quoted European Goldfields Limited until the Company was acquired by Eldorado Gold Corporation  in February  2012.

Colin Bird, Chairman, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Joel to the growing team at Xtract.  2013 looks set to be an exciting year for the business as the team expands, and with the recent appointment of Jan Nelson as CEO we are now looking a new opportunities for the business in the precious metals and base metals arena."
